April  2016 – IIDT partners Griffith University, Australia in Investigative Training on Gender Based Violence for police officers

Twenty police officers were trained by Griffith\ IIDT team on Investigative Interviewing techniques. The team included Australian Senior Police officers and specialized trainers. The training was conducted as a ToT creating the initial pool of trainers for Sri Lanka police. The Training was praised by the Police officers under training.  These specially trained police officers are expected to roll out the training to fellow officers.
